You Are Sovereign

I find as I work with clients I often reference a short scene from The Lord of the Rings. It helps visually and energetically express the personal power and sovereignty of an individual. Every time, they love it. It gives insight into not being taken advantage of, not allowing others to breech their boundaries energetically. We each have every right to stand our ground and insist on being respected, not in a violent or manipulative way, but just as a matter of fact, I’m standing my ground, you don’t have to like it, you don’t have to agree with me, but you do have to honor it.

If you know the rest of the story, at first it seems as though standing one’s ground doesn’t work out so well, but remember, in the end, he was more powerful and it worked out to his best advantage. =)

Todays post is short and sweet, just a reminder that you are sovereign and powerful. You may need to practice over and over, but every time you do, in love for self and others, you are gaining right of consciousness to attract and receive the honoring of your boundaries.
